Things I Want to Do Before Going Back to Work

Just a little while left until I go back to work after maternity leave. With Golden Week coming up, I started thinking — what do I actually want to get done before I return?

Here’s my honest list!

☆ Clean the house and declutter

☆ Prepare for daycare (this must be done by April)

☆ Visualize my return to work and imagine my daily routine

☆ Get my finances in order (review subscriptions and other expenses)

☆ Travel — even just day trips

☆ Try out a housekeeping service

☆ Take any online courses I can before I go back to work

☆ Start practicing meal prep now to get used to it

☆ Register for sick child care services

☆ Build up my stamina (keep up with strength training)

☆ Savor the happiness of spending all day with my child

If anything else comes to mind, I’ll add it later.

I’ll keep adding to this list as I think of more.
